Madhuca longifolia is an Indian tropical tree found largely in the central and north Indian plains and forests. It is commonly known as oil-nut, madhūka, madkam, mahuwa, Butter Tree,mahua, mahwa, mohulo, or Iluppai or vippa chettu.
