Benefits:
Amaltas is a natural Ayurvedic herb that helps to manage piles. Piles are known as Arsh in Ayurveda. This is caused by an unhealthy diet and a sedentary lifestyle, which leads to the impairment of all the three doshas—mainly Vata. An aggravated Vata causes a low digestive fire, leading to constipation. This causes swelling in the veins in the rectum area, leading to pile mass. Amaltas helps to manage constipation due to its Sramsana (simple purgative) property. This also reduces the size of pile mass.
Hyperacidity means an increased level of acid in the stomach. An aggravated Pitta impairs the digestive fire, leading to improper digestion of food and production of Ama—which gets accumulated in the digestive channels and causes hyperacidity. Amaltas helps to reduce hyperacidity by removing accumulated Ama from the digestive channel and managing hyperacidity.
