Heeng Premium acts as an anti-coagulant, lowers blood pressure and aids digestion. Available in a premium packing that savors its aroma and taste, This is very economic. Also, Heeng Premium is made from natural and pure ingredients with no added sugar, filler, artificial colour or any preservative. Heeng Premium is a latex gum obtained from a perennial plant. Asafoetida is popularly called “Heeng” in Hindi.

The species is native to the deserts of Iran, mountains of Afghanistan. Heeng Premium has a pungent smell, lending it the trivial name of stinking gum, but in cooked dishes it delivers a smooth flavour reminiscent of leeks or other onion relatives. Asafoetida is also known variously as “food of the gods”“devil’s dung”, jowani badian, hing, hengu, inguva, kayam, and ting.
