Rasna is useful in the treatment of arthritis because its anti-inflammatory and analgesic qualities reduce inflammation and joint discomfort. It is also beneficial to the kidneys because of its antioxidant characteristics, which minimise oxidative stress.
Rasna is also as “Yukta”
in Ayurveda. It is a versatile aromatic plant with great medicinal value. It is
an undershrub widely distributed in greater parts of India and the adjoining
Asian countries.
Rasna is beneficial in managing arthritis as it
reduces inflammation and joint pain due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic
properties. It is also good for kidneys as it reduces oxidative stress due to
its antioxidant properties. As per Ayurveda, drinking Rasna kadha (decoction)
is useful in arthritis and kidney problems.
Rasna is useful in wound healing as it increases
the wound contractions. Massaging joints with Rasna oil gives relief in pain
and inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is known as Aamavata in
Ayurveda. Amavata is a disease in which vitiation of Vata dosha and
accumulation of Ama (toxic remains in the body due to improper digestion) takes
place in the joints. Amavata starts with a weak digestive fire and leads to the
formation of Ama. It is carried to different parts of the body through Vata.
This Ama, instead of being absorbed in the body, gets accumulated in the
joints. Rasna helps to reduce Ama as it has Ushna(hot) nature and Vata
balancing properties. It gives relief to the symptoms of rheumatoid
arthritis-like joint pain and swelling.

osteoarthritis. According to Ayurveda, osteoarthritis occurs due to an
aggravation of Vata dosha and is known as Sandhivata. It causes symptoms like
pain, swelling, and joint mobility. Rasna has Vata balancing property which
