Atish Meethi - Ateesh Sweet - Atish Mithi - Ativisha - Aconitum Heterophyllum

Ativisha grows in northern India. It grows to a height of 2000 feet above sea level in the alpine regions. The plant's roots are the source of the majority of its alkaloids, including aconitine, atisine, heterophyllin, heterophyllisin, and others. 

The plant's roots are tuberous and paired. They could be white or grey in colour. The stem is simple or branching, reaching a height of 15 to 20 cm. The leaves are glabrous and heteromorophous. Flowers appear as inflorescences, which might be white or violet in color. Pyramidal seeds can be blackish or brownish in hue. 

Practical Uses Of Atis:

Ativisha is a multipurpose herbal treatment for all digestive difficulties, such as dissolving and digesting undigested food, which converts to "Arna" in the body and causes a variety of horrible ailments. The plant functions as a carminative, absorbing excess water from the body and so aiding in diarrhea.

It can also help with coughs and colds. Vomiting is another difficulty that many face when they have digestive disorders, and Atis can assist with that as well. 

This herb is also helpful in fever especially viral fever, diarrhea, and dysentery etc. It has been used as an ancient folklore medicine for this reason.
