Gond chuniya is a plant product. It is also famous as Brahmavriksham. It is mostly a reddish in colour or blackish-reddish colour. Gond has other names as Kamarkas, Palash Gond, Gond chuniya. It’s botanical name is Butea monosperma or Butea frondosa and English name is flame of forest. It is extensively used by female in pregnancy and after delivery as a remedy for back pain and weakness.
